We're here today to talk about the country-style floral decorations Maison Ditaba created for a wedding hall some time ago.
"Ivy from my garden also ended up in the large bouquet of flowers on the bride and groom's table."
The project involved decorating for a wedding event. The theme was chosen by the bride and groom. For her wedding, the bride wanted a country-style floral decoration. To celebrate their wedding, the bride and groom chose a private residence. It was a rather unusual venue, but full of charm for this type of event. To make the most of the location, the bride and groom called on the services of Maison Ditaba. The aim was to decorate the room for this beautiful event. Let's take a look at :
The wedding hall
The theme and creative process of the country-style floral wedding
The Ditaba touch for this decoration

1. Country-style floral decoration: the wedding hall
It was a wedding hall:
rectangular,
with tables for 10 people.
The first challenge was to find a good layout that would :
maintain sufficient space between the tables, chairs and guests at the country-style floral wedding,
create a harmonious country-style wedding floral decoration.

2. Country-style floral decoration: theme and creative process for a country-style floral wedding
The theme for the wedding venue was chosen by the bride: she wanted a country-style floral wedding with colours in shades of pink and parma, and a little touch of fuchsia pink. The base for this event decoration was white. Yes, friends, despite the colours, the base of this country-style floral wedding remained white, because at Maison Ditaba we love white, whether for interior decoration or events.
Here's how the creative process unfolded for this country-style floral wedding, based on the colours, the country-style wedding floral theme and the accessories:
The colours: Rose tones, parma and white
A white carpet was placed along the central aisle.
On either side of the carpet were rose petals in shades of pink and parma.
The tables were covered with white tablecloths. For these tablecloths, we chose the fabric and the shade. We then had them made to measure by our seamstress.
Fuchsia pink table runners were also added to the tables. We also chose the fabric for the table runner, and had it made to measure by our seamstresses.
Event floral decoration
Wicker baskets have been placed on either side of the rug. They were designed by Maison Ditaba and made by our craftsmen.
On the tables, to create diversity, we placed different centrepieces on every other table. The first centrepiece was a pair of gilded metal vases, which are part of our decorating equipment, on which we placed bouquets of flowers. We made the bouquets ourselves. The second type of centrepiece for this country-style floral wedding was a round mirror, on which we placed a glass vase, also part of our decorating scheme. The vase contained white flowers, marbles and water to hold the flowers in place.
For the bride and groom's table, the bride really likes flowers. So she wanted a lot of flowers! So we decorated the table with a large bouquet of flowers that I made, in keeping with the country floral wedding theme. It was a great reminder of nature in this wedding event decoration.
Behind the bride and groom, we added a floral wedding arch.
Accessories
Small diamonds, sometimes transparent, sometimes parma, were added all over the place. The idea was always to recall the theme of this country floral wedding, whose colors revolved around shades of parma, pink and white.
We had two types of napkins. White cloth napkins, made by our seamstress and folded by us. Other napkins were made of fuchsia-colored paper, folded by my hands (Marie-Laure).
A large part of the material was thus our event decoration material.

3. Country-style floral decoration: the Ditaba touch
To bring a natural touch to this country-style floral wedding decor, we opted for simplicity.
We used ivy from Marie-Laure's garden to decorate the various bouquets of flowers and the wooden beams of the hall. These were picked the day before the wedding, to preserve their freshness.
Inside the wicker baskets, there was also ivy from my garden (Marie-Laure). This created a cascading effect.
The ivy from my garden also found its way into the large bouquet of flowers on the bride and groom's table.
In the end, you'll see that we didn't go overboard with the colors for this country floral wedding. We really stuck to pink, parma and fuchsia with a white base.
